1 Package Whole Wheat Pasta
2 Cloves Garlic
4 medium Tomatoes
4 Cups Chopped, Fresh Spinach (or 1 package frozen spinach if you can’t find it fresh)
Basil, Oregano, Rosemary to taste (Fresh preferably but dried is tasty)

This really easy dish is delicious and quick to create and it’s effective in preventing the build up of plaque in arteries too. Simple boil the pasta per the package instructions, then rinse and set aside. Chop the remaining ingredients and mix them together in a medium size pot, then let the sauce simmer for about 5 minutes. Toss the sauce and pasta together, serve with fresh salad and you’ve got a quick and tasty meal for the whole family.
Stove-Top Pizzas
Serves 4
You’ll Need:
4 Whole Wheat Pitas
1 Can Crushed Tomatoes
Fresh Basil
2 Cloves Garlic
6 Button Mushrooms
2 Orange Bell Peppers (or color of choice)
1 Medium Onion
1 Can Olives
2 Ounces Low Fat Cheese of Choice (Optional)
Simply simmer the canned tomatoes, basil and garlic until warm and set aside. Chop the vegetables into bite sized pieces and set aside. Heat up a non stick skillet and place a pita into the pan. Top the pita with the sauce, a half ounce of cheese and the vegetables and cover with a top for one minute, and serve! You can also make homemade calzones by stuffing the pita breads with the above ingredients and baking them in the oven at 400 degrees for eight to ten minutes.
Easy Peasy Chili
Serves 4
You’ll Need:
2 Cans Black Beans
2 Cans Stewed tomatoes
1 Can Sweet Corn
2 Bell Peppers, Chopped
4 Cloves Garlic, Minced or Chopped
1 Tbsp Red Pepper Flakes
1 Tbsp Cumin
1 Tbsp Chili Powder
Simply mix all the ingredients together and heat it up on the stove. You can make this stretch by serving it over a bed of brown rice and a fresh salad so you have leftovers for lunch the next day.
