Secrets For Body Detoxification
If you’re like most people, you will sure have encountered many days in your life where you simply feel as though your mind and body are burnt out. How many times have you woken up, rolled out of bed, and simply dreaded having to face the day because you knew t was the same grind as most of your days are?
Now, if you wake up feeling like that on the odd occasions, then you have nothing to worry about, but it’s happening all too often, then perhaps it’s time for you to consider a body detoxification. A good detox will leave your body feeling rejuvenated, but it will also help to cleanse your soul.
The term ‘body detoxification’ actually refers to any means used to detoxify the body, and of course there are many ways through which to achieve that goal. One of the most basic, most common, and also most effective ways would be to increase fluid intake. However, since increased fluid consumption targets mostly the body, other steps need to be taken in order to detox the soul. This might be done by visiting a spa, of perhaps going for a massage. Another effective approach involves enjoying a short holiday every once in a while, even if it’s only for a weekend at a time.
Increased Fluid Intake
The reason why increased fluid consumption is so effective is actually very simply to understand, because after all, our bodies are virtually made out of water. Furthermore, without water, life cannot exist. The nice thing about this approach is that you also don’t need to limit yourself to just one specific type of fluid. While water is by far the option of choice, you can also indulge in other liquids such as fresh juice, and even plenty of tea. In fact, if you’re doing a body detox, it’s advisable to drink plenty of fresh juice in addition to water, simply because fresh juice contains such a vast array of essential vitamins, minerals, and nutrients. Tea on the other hand is rich in antioxidants, which as you may well know, and known to help prevent several forms of cancer.
While some people prefer to significantly increase fluid intake on a ‘per week’ basis, other do so for a month at a time. Having said that, the general consensus is that it’s best to simply increase fluid intake regular day to day basis. The reason for this being that it will help to flush toxins out of the body daily, rather than only during predetermined intervals.
Going back to tea… Tea is a beverage which can be enjoyed at any time of the day. You can enjoy it first thing in the morning, late in the afternoon, in the evenings when you get home from work, or even throughout the day. Another nice thing about including plenty of tea in your efforts is that most supermarkets stock a very wide variety of teas. Additionally, tea has a double benefit, in that it not only helps to dispel toxins from your body, but it also tends to result in a certain amount of relaxation.
