Did you ever give your friends or somebody you where really interested in a valentines and little heart shaped candies on Valentines Day? Did you ever say cross my heart when you’re making a promise that you really, really do mean? Or turn on the radio and hear a guy or lady on the radio singing a song about his or her broken heart?

We see and hear about the heart everywhere. It’s came to the point where people even thought that their emotions came from their hearts, maybe because the heart tends to beat faster when the person is scared or excited. Also gets rid of all the waste. Your heart is like two pumps in one. The right side of your heart takes in the blood from the body then pumps it to our lungs. The left side receives blood from our lungs and pumps it out to our body.

With the way life is now days, our bodies are at more risk. Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States and is a major cause of disability. Heart disease is a name that includes several more particular heart conditions. The most common heart disease is coronary heart disease, which can lead to heart attack. The coronary heart disease is a narrowing of the small blood vessels that supply blood and oxygen to the heart. Blood flow and oxygen supply to the heart can be reduced or even fully blocked with a growing plaque. Plaques may also rupture and cause blood clots that block arteries.
